Richmond Hill, GA – The sun was shining, the costumes were epic, and the atmosphere was electric as families and running enthusiasts from all over gathered at Heartwood this Saturday for the much-anticipated “Run for The Hill” 5K event. Organized by Heartwood, Richmond Hill’s premier real estate development, title sponsor, St. Joseph / Candler’s Bē Health, and several other key trade partners and supporters, the event combined fun, fitness, and philanthropy in a memorable way.

The “Run for The Hill” 5K drew participants of all ages, including kids and adults alike. But what truly set this event apart was the playful twist: participants were encouraged to don their most creative costumes. From superheroes to fairy tale characters, the streets of Heartwood were transformed into a colorful parade of runners.

This event wasn’t just about racing; it was about rallying together as a community to make a difference. All proceeds from the “Run for The Hill” 5K went towards supporting Richmond Hill schools. Heartwood’s commitment to education and community development was on full display, as participants ran with enthusiasm, knowing that their efforts were contributing to a brighter future for local students.

“Thank you Richmond Hill! We’re thrilled with the incredible turnout and the sense of collaboration and fun this event generated,” said Paige Glazer, Project Manager at Heartwood. “Together with our sponsors, we raised $24,000 to be split between the 7 schools in town. McAllister Elementary was presented with a $1000 bonus check as they had the most affiliated runners!”

The success of the “Run for The Hill 5K” serves as a testament to the spirit of Richmond Hill and Heartwood’s commitment to the community. Enjoy the full event photo gallery below!
