Richmond Hill High School is officially open.

Just a short drive from the Heartwood community, the new school is a state-of-the-art $97 million facility, according to the school’s website.

“Without a doubt it’s a world-class facility,” said Cathy Hicks, whose son is a senior this year. “I know it’s expensive and I know people have griped about how long it took. I got to walk the building and see my son’s reaction, which was fantastic.
